Higher Learning Studios is a non-commercial portfolio website that is designed to host an array of projects, websites, and illustrations for your viewing pleasure. Below is a brief history of how the site was established to how it works today.

HLS History
This site was developed back in 2003 as a means to host school projects while attending Westwood College. The original part of the site, know as the Ground Zero Test Site, hosted four websites, or projects, complete with original files and graphics for the instructor and students to download. Once the course was completed, the websites remained as the rest of the content was removed and replaced with links to other projects for various clients. That same site was used a few more times for other courses, but navigation of the original site quickly made a premium for real estate, virtually speaking, and a new developments got underway.

Towards the end of 2004, Higher Learning Studios was established as a movie production company while taking a video editing course at Westwood College. In March of 2005, HigherLearningStudios.com was created to take over for the Ground Zero Test Site and its former domain. Even though the college courses have long since been completed, the HLS name was still used in movies and animation clips from school as well as current projects.

HLS Today
Higher Learning Studios is home to many school projects as well as examples of work that was done for clients over the years. In addition, it is a place to host test sites or other experimental projects for individuals. In short, this site a consolidated portfolio that is every changing as new projects are created and made available to be displayed online. Of course, no portfolio would be complete without a resume. Some of the pages within this sites are created specifically to expound on the resume content. The standard and creative resumes can be viewed on the Résumé page.

Please feel free to browse the site, play with the animations, and gaze in awe at some of the work that as been done. If you have any questions or comments about the site, then email Marc.
