IntroductionAfter many months of hard work and exceeding client's expectations, Higher Learning Studios is proud to display some new examples of work for the world to admire. There were also some major changes to the site itself, so please read the following information carefully. Welcome (default) PageThe opening/splash page was removed and the Welcome Page from the Main Gate section took its place. This was done so that visitors to the site, which are becoming more frequent all the time, can jump right into what HLS is all about and not have to stare at some flash animation wondering how to get in. However, for those of you who missed staring at the HLS Marquee, it is here...
Ground Zero Test SiteThe original file holding content website still exists, but under its own roof with a few new links. You can find the website under Main Navigation or by visiting http://groundzero.higherlearningstudios.com The reason for the change was simple, clean up everything! Having a website inside of a website that is inside a website isn't easy to setup. But after some serious design and layout changes, the best solution was to keep the Ground Zero Test Site apart from everything else but still keep it linked through out the site as if it was one big happy family. Main NavigationIn part from the details above, Main Navigation has been updated so that all the pages are easily accessible and links that appeared to be broken are no longer broken. Hence the reason why it is always smart to link to the opening page instead of everything else to ensure that nothing is lost even when it gets rearranged. Print StudioThe project involved redesigning the layout of the menu, updating some of the graphics, and allowing for easy modifications to add and/or remove various items on the menu. This extensive page layout project was done for Irish Times in Brookfield, IL. Under the Print Studio section you will see two parts. The first is the Lunch Fare Menu, which is a smaller menu that is only used during certain hours of the day. The second, the Dinner Menu, is the first menu to be redone and included extra requirements for the paper used and lamination.
